Through our five focus areas, we turn everyday challenges into opportunities to live, learn, and lead differently, shaping a Lebanon that heals and grows together.
Environment and Sustainability Cluster
HERO leads eco-focused projects that address climate change, pollution, and resource misuse through innovative solutions like recycling, cleanups, sustainable design, and renewable energy. These efforts empower communities, especially in rural Lebanon, to protect natural resources, with local collaboration driving environmental awareness and long-term impact.
Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship
HERO equips youth with tools to lead, innovate, and thrive through programs on entrepreneurship, digital skills, and civic engagement. From start-up incubation to design-thinking workshops and mentorships, HERO cultivates agency and resilience among young people, especially in under-resourced communities.
Humanitarian Support and Social Justice
This cluster delivers targeted relief and long-term support through food aid, shelter, education, and legal empowerment. HERO champions inclusion, gender equality, and dignity through community-led programs that address poverty, displacement, and social exclusion, ensuring no one is left behind.
Health, Wellness, and Sports
This area promotes mental and physical well-being through awareness campaigns, sports events, and accessible wellness services. HERO prioritizes inclusivity, encouraging healthy habits and providing fitness, mental health, and therapeutic initiatives, particularly in marginalized and trauma-affected regions.
Agriculture and Food Safety
This cluster boosts food sovereignty through regenerative farming, urban agriculture, agri-tech, composting, and seed-saving initiatives. HERO supports small farmers and young agri-entrepreneurs with training, tools, and access to sustainable markets, aiming to reduce import dependency and revive Lebanon’s agricultural sector.
